The Beginning

She is the one who created all things, The Earth Mother, Cyn'thea. Reintora was the home that would pave the way for all of her soon to be children, but she lacked one thing that was essential to her quest... a mate. She took bits and pieces of Reintora, bringing them together. The Water from the pools, Earth from the lush forests, Fire from the lava flows and Air from the breezes of the coasts. These parts all combined to mold the 'first one', Jaha.

The wolf of all elemental affinities was born. He would accept the Earth Mother as his mate and together they bore the children of Reintora. The first born, Macha, a mischievous fox born of light and darkness. He was kept by his parents side due to his uniqueness. The Earth Mother longed to see the land she had built for her children used and so she took to her quest again and with Jaha, they bore the first beasts of Reintora.

Together, Jaha and Macha practiced and honed their magical abilities and being beasts they could only communicate clearly with each other. Cyn'thea longed to know the thoughts of her lover and so she crafted a body for him. His wolf would live within the physical form she had created him, similar to her own. With his new form, and their plan to see the land inhabited, they bought the first iterations of beastmen into Reintora - beings with intelligence though they kept their animalistic forms. Then came the children who were entirely human but still had animalistic tendencies and were considered lost. They were cast down onto Reintora and were the last of what the couple would bear. These outcasts quickly spread across the lands, many of them hiding in smaller camps and straying from all the other beasts.

Macha wanted to run and escape from his normal existence by his parents side and so created his own way and place upon the land of Reintora. Having watched his parents, he too longed for a mate and took his own flesh and blood to craft her. He named her Abadon. This crafted creature of flesh and blood grew hungry and the beasts within the realm only sated her for so long. Macha opened a portal with Abadon that would allow the siphoning of bodies from any realm so that she could feed, but it was unknown where they would arrive in Reintora. 

Cyn'thea was upset by seeing Abadon feed off her creations, but she loved her first born and wanted him to feel the love she had with Jaha, but once the portal was open, it was Jaha who could not bare to watch what the duo were doing within their crafted serenity. Jaha descended onto Reintora to close the portal and a fight ensued. Macha landed a striking blowand the darkness he wielded had heavily wounded Jaha. 

As Jaha fell, his soul splintered and birthed the Den of the Elements. Cyn'thea watched on with great concern as his soul shards took the form of wolves, representing each of Jaha's affinities. Macha was overcome with bloodlust and the Earth Mother knew she had to intervene, taking Jaha's near lifeless body away and setting into the desert of Reintora, forcing a hibernation upon him to rest peacefully. She would set a way to heal his wounds and quell the imminent threat to come.

The body of Jaha, deep in slumber and his elements split into four shards - each spirit hid away so that they could return once the slumber was complete.  Despite her love for her son, she could not simply allow his actions to go unpunished and so she imprisoned him and worked on a plan to bring her love to full strength once more. She now watches over the land and takes the children of the inhabitants of Reintora, holding them until maturity in an effort to keep their pureness and squash the darkness she had seen in Macha. Those that succumb to the animal within, fall back to Reintora and roam without recollection of events as beast or human.

Abadon now seeks a way to break the veil and allow Macha an easy route to his father to finish what was started....
