Winds of Sorrow

With the player driven elemental imbalance beginning to run havoc on the land, Cyn'thea tried to restore balance with the help of inhabitants of Reintora. Players scrambled to help Cyn'thea collect air gems, while others stole and harvested the gems to support Abadon. Players also released a curse of undead upon the land by delving where they shouldn't.

Unfortunately, Cyn'thea was unable to succeed and a shard of Jaha fell. Sono, the air wolf fell and with that a series of environmental catastrophes took place they resulted in much loss of both buildings and loved ones.

The Gate

She sat and watched from the cliff tops above while people - no - souls, poured in through the gate. Her fox like teeth grinning from beneath the cowl. She was hungry, oh so hungry, but she had one mission that her hunger would wait for - Macha.

Souls were pouring in steadily now from all reaches of the unending universe. Abadon didn't care much for where they came from or who they were as they were little more than a means to an end for her. She slipped back into the darkness to remain unseen by any.

Chaos Rising

An unexpected side effect of pulling souls mindlessly through the gate was also pulling those that had been cursed by the elements. For each elemental being pulled in through the gate the natural balance of Reintora was thrown off. Usually this would not have been of concern, but with Jaha in deep hibernation he was unable to redistribute himself to provide balance to the land like he had for aeons before.

At first, the elements thrived and flourished with the introduction of these new beings, but quickly, Air began to feel the effects and Sono, the air shard of Jaha, fell to his knees with immense weakness. Flames rose up within the volcano and warped into a menacing beast with a crackling roar. The heat from the volcano intensified and melted the northern snows far further than usual. The elemental beings forced into this world flocked to tame the beast within the volcano while Cyn'thea prepared her priestess to descend.

The Black Witch

Journals that  told an intriguing tale of a witch with no name were scattered across Reintora. Journal by journal, travellers were compelled to follow the tales written within the books. Perhaps as eager to learn of The Black Witch and her powers as the writer of the journals was, and just like the writer, travellers could not help themselves from travelling across the sea to a suspicious cave dwelling.

The door was opened and nothing but entrails painted the walls and the scent of death stung the nostrils of any who entered... The curse had been released and the dead rise once more.

Abadon's Disciples Prevail

As the dead began life once more at the south eastern waters, the Priestess of Cyn'thea rallied people within Harmonia in a desperate attempt to restore balance before the elements spiralled completely out of control. A disciple of Abadon recruited who she could within the dark forests of the north west to steal and harvest the air gems of the land for Abadon's cause.

Determined to stop Cyn'thea from bringing Jaha back, for if she could not be with her mate neither would Cyn'thea. Abadon's cause strengthened as inhabitants of Reintora rally at the seemingly unjust imprisonment of Macha and seek to also see his freedom. With Abadon's followers securing the air gems the balance was unable to be restored in time and Sono fell to an eternal sleep.

Winds of Sorrow

As Sono's form had fallen it sent a ripple effect across the realm before it dissipated into the air. The pain of the shard dying was felt deeply within the remaining three elemental wolves and their cries would be heard throughout Reintora. They howled in pain at their brother lost and those howls would echo through the winds as the airs swirled into a wild and uncontrollable storm.

The storm quickly formed a catastrophic tornado that ripped through the deserts of Reintora. As it went, smaller aggressive wind swirls joined the fray and spread across the land. Those along the coast turned to cyclones as the winds mixed with the waters. The volcano and surrounding area was overcome with intense heat that caused inhabitants to flee or risk roasting. Finally, those who lived amongst the forests and jungles had the Earth begin to pull around them, trunks of trees and thick branches slamming like boulders into homes and knocking them down suddenly....

No one was prepared, It was all so.. sudden...
Many took refuge in caves and tunnels, some, were lost forever more. Eventually the land laid still, and after a short while people emerged from their hiding spaces and stepped out to the unknown. The only sound to be heard, was the whispered sorrowful cry of three grieving wolves.
